UNDER 10 BOYs v LORETTO

The under ten boys travelled to Loretto on Monday for A and  B team fixtures on the Meadowmill astro.

The A team put up a decent fight in the first half, but the Loretto boys were strong, and so soon after half term it took us a while to warm up. By the time we did, we were a distance behind, and up against it, but Constantin de Rosen, in particular, with help from Hughie Brooks and Jamie Farr, kept the damage to a minimum in the second half and there was much more to be positive about after the break.

The B team simply took a bit too long to warm up, and by the time we did, the Loretto front line were well into their stride. The final score is perhaps less relevant than the increased fight the boys gave in the second half.
