DANDYLIONS v wosps rounders 2009

Friday afternoon saw the Dandylions and WOSPS play their rounders match at Belhaven.  With the weather a little blustery at times, some great rounders matches were played by the two teams.

The Dandy's A team with Vanessa and Eritrea

Eritrea and Vanessa represented Belhaven and played for the Dandylions A team while Katya, Lydia, Claudia and Daisy played for the B team.  The B team, captained by Daisy, were clearly a strong team against the WOSPS and won convincingly.

Fantastic fielding from the team and great hits by Lydia and Daisy the B team won 18 - 5.  A much closer game for the A team, with some great catches by Ness, saw the Dandylions win by just half a rounder.

Well done all the girls who played in these matches.
