Belhaven vs. Loretto U-11b Windball.
Loretto win by 52 runs.
The first run-out for the Belhaven Under 11bs ended in defeat at home to Loretto. Loretto had two or three of good batsmen and some handy bowlers and that was just enough to have the edge over Belhaven.
Special mentions go to Sam Pooley who bowled very consistently for four overs and took two wickets in one over, Tom Brooke who bowled very accurately, Freddie Woodd who both bowled and batted with great aplomb, and huge congratulations go to Sam Thomlinson who took two wickets in his four balls and bowled the Loretto tail out, ending with figures of 2 for 2.
Man of the match for his accurate, aggressive bowling and his confident, unbeaten knock is Freddie Woodd.
