A triumphant win for the first match of the season!

Excellent team work, accurate passing and superb shooting put the Belhaven Belles firmly in the lead throughout the whole match. Sophie and Jeanie demonstrated sharp shooting skills, scoring consistently, supported by Rosabel, Grizel at the wings. Hopie made her debut as centre and never failed to retrieve the ball from the Loretto half. With strong defence from Ollie, Alny and Madeline, the ball rarely entered the opposition's circle.

Despite a complete reshuffle of positions at half time, the girls continued with enthusiasm and accuracy, resulting in an outstanding final score of:

Victory for the U12s!

Despite never having played together as a team, the girls fought hard and came out with a solid win. Excellent interception and defence from Annabel, Bibi, Silvie and Moo kept the ball out of Loretto's circle and some clever bounce passes across the wings from Abigail secured our possession of the ball for the majority of the game. Gina and Roo alternated as centres and worked hard across the length of the court. Poppy and Polly made a strong shooting duo, getting into spaces and shooting accurate goals.
