Under 11 Netball v Mowden Hall

Belhaven - 18        Mowden Hall - 1

 v Mowden

The girls were faced with an extra challenge today as they had to play 5 a side netball. No WA or WD, no arms allowed when defending and everyone had to move positions at the end of each quarter.

Mowden scored the first goal of the match and then that was all we were going to let them have as the girls once again put on an impressive display of passing, shooting and defending.

Emilia White, usually our centre, showed everyone that she is a pretty useful shooter as well. Cassie Roberts and Mercedes Bannister both impressed as centre as they moved around the court easily and  thought about their passes. Jemima Black and Julia Tyndall continued to impress as shooters but kept close to their opposite number when defending (as the score line shows). Rosie Barnes fitted into each of her different positions well and her intercepting was superb. Matilda Laird, usually GK, found herself as a shooter in the last quarter and with mum watching on the side she scored her first Belhaven goal as an Under 11.
