DANDYLIONS V WOSPS NETBALL

This year, 5 girls from the Senior Netball team, represented Belhaven in the Dandylions Netball squad. Saskia and Tosca played in the A team, with Saskia appointed captain of the Dandylions A team, while Rose, Iona and Hattie played for the B team.

 

Two very exciting matches this year were played at Kilgraston. The A team remained in the lead for the duration of their game, with Saskia and Tosca providing a great defence for the team. The B team were not so fortunate with their game – unable to get the ball to their attack due to some strong defence from the WOSP’s, the WOSP’s took the lead. A great goal though, from Rose was scored right in the final few minutes of the game.

 

These two games gave the girls a great experience at taking their netball to the next level and they all enjoyed the afternoon.
