A Visit from the dentist for form 5
On Monday Carol Golightly came to talk to us about teeth and how to keep them clean. She taught us some very interesting information. I think she is very knowledgeable about teeth.
She showed us some very disgusting pictures of teeth. One had holes in the teeth and the other had gum disease which means the gums go all red.
She also told us that you should not wet your tooth brush under the tap, because the fluoride might come off. I think this is very interesting and I suspect many others will as well!
She brought in a toy dog called Monty. Monty had human teeth which I think is a bit of a mystery! Maybe he ate something wrong! He squirted water and got us all wet!
