Girls' U9 Hockey v Cargilfield

On the bus to Cargilfield we were all ready to go and complete our first match! We got off the bus and made our way to the sports hall and did a bit of practising before our big exciting match!

 

Susannah and Flora (captain) played Defence and were fantastic at stopping Cargilfield shooting too many goals!!!  Amy and Pandora played Midfield and were excellent at whacking the ball down to the other end.  They were so determined to do this, Cargilfield found it hard to stop them!  Finally we come to Jemima and I who played left wing and right wing.  I think Jemima was the star of the show because she nearly scored 3 goals. Unfortunately Cargilfield had some very good Defences so by the slightest bit they just saved it!

 

I think we all have a very determined attitude and we all tried very hard so we are all going to try even more to play well in the future!
