girls' u11 vs mary erskine

The girls noticeably improved their ball skills and passing as the game progressed...

Unfortunately, Mary Erskine were a strong team and with the advantage of both being able to practice on astro and with a large reserve, we lost 0 - 10.

The U11's quickly learnt that they needed to pass wide out the wings and Mercedes and Izzy (the Birthday girl!) worked well together with hit out's from defence. Julia's confidence grew in the second half and she saved a series of goals from being scored with some powerful hits out of the D. Jemima and Cassia really improved their pass backs and  Silvie and Rosie worked across the width of the pitch pushing forwards into the opposition's half. Bibi was impressive on the left wing, attacking and intercepting the ball successfully with Jemima.

Girls - you all tried hard and really improved your passing and dribbling in the second half. Well done.
