girls' 2nds 0 - 0 ardvreck

Although we have not trained much on grass so far this season, the girls' 2nds put on a great performance on Saturday against a strong Ardvreck team.
In goal we had Sophie Benson, who looked as though she could take on anything fired at her! Well done Sophie on those super saves!

We had a very solid defender in Hermione Campbell, nothing got past her! Alny Findlay and Ollie Erskine really played their hearts out, putting in tackles where they could and taking advantage of the new self-pass rule.

Midfield, Mairi Donaldson and Abi Pooley did a super job of getting the ball out of trouble to the wings, Grizel Hocknell (left) and Bea Begg (right). This allowed for some super runs up either side into the Ardvreck circle.

Man of the match this week though, goes to Poppy Izat who made some excellent passes out wide and who was always positioned in the right place. So unlucky not to pop a goal in girls, but well done anyway on a great performance.
