A super triumph!..

A great game and well done girls for stepping into different positions at the last minute.

Rosie made her debut as Goal Keep, saving all but one ball from going into the goal, supported by Mercedes and Polly. Stong passes, dribbling and use of self passes between Izzy, Matilda and Cassia to Emilia in mid field, kept the ball at our end resulting Jemima scoring a goal within 3 minutes!

In the second half Bibi and Silvie stepped into defence and right wing, making good passes and keeping the ball out wide away from the D. Emilia's skillful dribbling and hitting of the ball continued to push the ball towards Loretto's goal. Jemima scored a further goal and shortly afterwards, so did Loretto. A silly mistake girls - always keep your sticks down ready. This slip in concentration gave the girls extra determination and the last part of the match saw them play to the best of their abilities. With a strong defence and a series of short corners, Jemima and Emilia manoeuvred the ball, scoring a further goal. A fast and final goal by Matilda put us firmly in the lead as the whistle blew!
