U11 GIRLS’ VS ST MARY's

 

The match started off well, but we didn’t seem to be enthusiastic enough. Mercedes and Polly defended amazingly but sadly St Mary’s had very strong attackers. Julia was doing a fantastic job in goal but they managed to slip in a strong goal. Bibi and Silvie were working hard to get the ball up to the opposition’s end but there were three defenders so it was impossible to get the ball through! Izzy and Rosie were playing well in mid field but the whole team wasn’t working together as well as we usually do. Just before half-time St Mary’s scored a further two goals.

 

The second half seemed to be much better, Gina went on to be a wing instead of Silvie. The team was working together effectively and were much better than the last half which was good. We were so close to getting a goal but we just couldn’t seem to get past the goalie. We were all battling really hard but St Mary’s sadly scored another goal. We need to work on our feet and speed but it was a great match, well done!!!!!
