u9 v Cargilfield

Cargilfield won the toss and batted first. Although our bowling was quite good and mostly on target (we only gave away 11 extras), it was not fast enough and allowed their batsmen to deal quite comfortably  with anything thrown at them. By the end of the innings, they had scored 189 runs!!!

Time for tea came and went and we were soon at the crease trying hard not to get wiped off the green... Jock managed a four and a six but then the wickets started to fall and that was that. Our total looked a little on the meagre side, consisting of a mere 41runs!!!
