MASTERMIND 2011 - HEAT 1

With a record number of contestants this year (28 in total), we will be having 4 heats with seven children competing in each heat.  The first of these heats was held on Friday 28th January and the following pupils took part, having to answer questions on their special subject for 90 seconds followed by two minutes of General Knowledge.

Abi weighs up her answer to a particularly awkward question then delivers a confident answer

The winner this week was Amelia Cookson (21 points), followed by Alice Warre (20 points) and Angus Robison (19 points).  Amelia will certainly go through to the final and Alice and/or Angus may go through too, depending on the scores in the remaining heats.

The second heat will take place on Friday 11th February; the third heat on Wednesday 16th February and the fourth heat on Friday 4th March.

The final will take place at 6.45pm on Tuesday 22nd March.
