Christmas activity for the girls

The patrols go head to head to produce a festive display.

As there were no girls' matches and the astro was out of use, we thought it was the perfect opportunity to be a little festive whislt letting the girls have a run around in the fresh air.

The Challenge:

To create a "festive scene" using items found in the grounds.

The twist:

The first letter of the items you use must spell a Christmassy word.

Split into their patrols, the girls managed to produce some fantastic entries. (The staff couldn't actually believe how good they were!) Words ranged from "snowing", to "church", to "Christmas".

Mrs. Rawson, Mrs. Gale, Mrs. Burton, Mrs. Hadden, Mrs. O'Kane and Miss. Graham were the judges and they decided that the winning patrol was the Woodpeckers with this snowy church scene:

Runners up with the Lions with a creative tree spelling the word "snowman".

Well done to all the girls!
