This term, fourteen boys have signed up to the golf activity on Monday afternoons; all have also become members at Winterfield Golf Course which is just out the back gate.
Already this term, though a bit blustery and cool, the boys have ventured out to play a few holes during their activity slot. It is wonderful to be able to step right onto the 8th or 10th tee and play four or five holes before heading back to school to shower and get ready for tea. Those who prefer can stay in school and practise their swing in the golf nets or their putting on the school putting green.
The children have also been making use of the nets and course on Sundays and Wednesday evenings. The school putting competiton is in full flow.
Could there be a Bubba Watson amongst them?
