2nd XI v Cargilfield

It was a sunny, clear afternoon and there was barely a cloud in the sky brilliant weather for a six a side game against Cargilfield.

The team started well with good passing of the ball and straight away we made a quick chance on a counter attack.

A real opportunity presented itself late in the first half when Tristan made a brilliant run after a pass from the half way line which was brilliantly collected by him and smacked into the corner of the net.

Though soon Cargilfield equalized soon after making the score 1-1.

Soon came half time and after a quick talk from Mr Wilson and Alexander retrieving the oranges the second half started.

Tristan then soon scored again and then Jonty as well. But Cargilfield made an amazing comeback taking a 3-1 deficit back to a 3-3 draw.

Though we all agreed without their ridiculously good goalie we could have scored many more goals.

Over all a brilliant game from both sides but the M.O.T.M has to go to Tristan after his two great goals and all round great man marking.

What an exciting match end to end stuff. As Buzz said, their Goalie was the difference, otherwise the match result would have been very different.
