Be Curious

Learning has to be engaging and fun. Children are naturally inquisitive and questioning and our educational programme takes full advantage of this.

Here at Belhaven our boys and girls are encouraged to ask, to question, to debate and to reason, both in lessons and also in our myriad extracurricular activities. We encourage this every day for every child.

Belhaven's Academic Record

Belhaven prides itself on being a happy and hard-working place where we aim to provide a well-balanced and broad education.

During the past 10 years our leavers have passed successfully into many of the UK's most respected senior schools:

Our boys and girls have also gone on to Benenden, Bryanston, Downe House, Francis Holland, Gordonstoun, Longridge Towers, Loretto, Marlborough, Merchiston Castle, Sedbergh, Sherborne, Shrewsbury, St Mary's Calne, St Mary's Ascot, Tudor Hall, and Wycombe Abbey.

"Whatever the child, the school seems to find their best self and enhance it. There is a real danger that for children from Belhaven, senior school will be a terrible disappointment, because education will probably never be as much fun again. The school undoubtedly does turn out rounded individuals who are able to find the best in every situation." (Parent)
