X-Country Running

There is a fine and long-established tradition of Cross-Country running at Belhaven. Every Thursday afternoon, in the autumn and winter terms, all pupils are split into ability groups and take part in regular runs. Inter-School matches, the Patrol Relay Competition and the Cross Country Run all add a little spice and interest to the weekly training sessions.

 

For the past eight years, the highlight of the running year has been the Scottish Prep Schools Championships which the school has hosted at the nearby John Muir Country Park.
