Autumn Term 2025

This is a time for learning how to use watercolour paints and experiment with various wash techniques in a very relaxed atmosphere. We often watch part of a video or paint from a photograph and then try out what we have learnt. It is open to all ages and all abilities including Mrs Parks!

This term we are starting off by having a go at Seascapes.

Spring 2025

We're learning to paint snowy mountains inspired by Paul Clark. They're not quite finished yet!

We’ve improved our paintings this week. We were learning to paint with 3 tones and trying to find the shadows created by the mountains.

Summer Term 2024

The children are having a go at wet on wet washes.

In particular some finished a light house from the previous week and others painted a sunset.

It is a wonderful group, all different ages and abilities!
