Leavers Help Out Surfers Against Sewage at Belhaven Bay

Belhaven Hill's Form 1 leavers helped out eco-charity Surfers Against Sewage and local wildlife by clearing litter from a stretch of Belhaven Bay.

This was the fifth litter pick that Belhaven Hill has undertaken with the marine conservation charity.

Over the course of around an hour we picket up nearly 20kg of litter between the Bridge to Nowhere and Winterfield Golf Club.

We were pleasantly surprised to find less litter than expected but delighted to have been able to leave the foreshore a prettier and safer place for everyone to enjoy.

Below are some pictures from the day:

Well done to all involved! We'll miss you!
