Domestic Team Member - Girls' House

Overview

Belhaven Hill School is seeking a cleaner to join the Domestic Team with primary responsibility for the housekeeping of our girls boarding house and to help ensure that the wider school site and buildings are cleaned to the highest standard during term time whilst working closely within a team which includes maintenance, kitchen and teaching staff.

This role reports to the Housekeeper and includes delivering the cleaning of a school site within a small team of domestic staff. This is a Monday to Friday role with overtime offered for weekends as required.

Key Duties:
Liaising with the Housekeeper to arrange and deliver daily cleaning tasks for and with the domestic team including:

  • Toilet and bathroom facilities
  • Hoovering and sanitising of common area spaces, including changing facilities
  • Hoovering and sanitising of classroom spaces
  • Common touch surfaces
  • Termly deep clean work in specific areas of the site

Hours:
07:30 - 13:30 Term Time with an additional 6 weeks' cleaning during July and August

Pay and Benefits:
£12.71 per hour

On-site meals (breakfast and/or lunch) are included as a benefit of employment during term time

Free parking and use of facilities out of term time including gym, sports facilities and swimming pool
