End of season shine replaces rusty start.
It was a rusty start for the U11 rounders team at the start of term. Having missed the last rounders season it took a couple of weeks for the squad to get back on track.
But they worked really hard to improve their skills and by the time of the first match against Ardvreck, the u11 rounders squad had recovered their competitive spirit won this match. With renewed confidence the team continued to grow stronger, making significant improvements to their batting, bowling and catching. Alice and Amy made great progress as backstop, Willow is an energetic second post, Ottie is developing a good throw, Eleanor is a reliable bat, Louisa is becoming a confident and reliable bowler and Sophie, a strong all-rounder.
But the most notable improvement for the U11s was, that by the end of term they were making tactical decisions and working effectively as a team. Well done girls.
