  • Wednesday 24 April 2024 Belhaven's 'Three Peaks' Challenge Belhaven Hill School’s pupils and staff recently took part in an ambitious whole school sponsored walk for Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA). All one hundred and forty-one 5 to 13 year-olds and staff at the boarding and day school, had to climb ‘The Belhaven Three Peaks’, North Berwick Law, Traprain Law and, of course, Belhaven Hill!

  • Thursday 21 March 2024 Patrol Relay 2024 Another great patrol cross-country event was held this week as Belhaven Hill School's annual Patrol Relay was run along the 7.6 km route between the school and John Muir Country Park, Dunbar in East Lothian.
  • Wednesday 20 March 2024 Belhaven's Mastermind Final 2024 This year we had a record number of pupils enter the competition and so lovely to see a large number of Forms 2 and 3 sign up. We held 4 heats, each with 6 contestants and the range of specialist subjects was vast; Aisla Craig, The Lewis Chessmen, Gorillaz Albums, Finn Russell and Oman being just a few of the topics. As usual, the winner of each heat is guaranteed a place in the final along with the pupils who achieve the next best scores.

  • Monday 5 February 2024 The Beach - A Story by Clemmie G-G Read a gripping tale with a twist, written by Clemmie G-C (Form 3) as part of a creative writing assignment. You can also watch Clemmie reciting her story to the school during assembly.

  • Wednesday 20 December 2023 Frosty The Snow Man : A Belhaven Hill Christmas Story As the Christmas Term comes to the end, each year Mr Townshend takes a Christmas story and adapts it to suit Belhaven Hill. He also tries to hide the surnames of as many of the Form 1s in the story as possible. The challenge is to see if the children can identify and count all the names. This year Mr Townshend tweaked the story of Frosty the Snowman.
