Belhaven Performs at Dunbar Xmas Lights
For the first time, Belhaven was invited to take part in one of the biggest events of the Dunbar calendar – the Christmas Lights Switch On!

This event draws huge crowds every year and so it was a great thrill for the Choir to be asked to perform after impressing everyone at the various community events at which we have assisted over the past few years. The Choir have been working hard to prepare for this Christmas period since their excellent performance at the Remembrance Service, and this was their first chance to try out some of the Christmas repertoire.
It was pretty cold and quite windy by the time they got in front of the microphones on the truck stage at the end of the High Street, but having had a great warm-up by dancing and singing and exploring the shops of Dunbar, they put on a very good performance in front of a big and appreciative audience.

The next performance will be at St. Anne’s Church, where the Choir will, for the first time, sing alongside Dunbar Choral in the community Carol Service on Monday 9th December, at 7pm. Please do come along if you can!
