Colours gained for Musicians
MUSIC COLOURS 2020/2021
Three more pupils were awarded full Music Colours this week.
Music colours are given to students who excel in a number of musical areas, or have Grade 5 or higher on their instrument, they may have positions of responsibility in the Music School such as Head Choristers, Pipe Band Leaders, Music Prefects etc. Most importantly a pupil will be a dedicated musician who is in the Music School on a regular basis, always looking to help other students and rehearse with them, and practising every day.
Congratulations to Louisa, Harry, and Toby (pictured) who gained their Music Colours this week for service to the Pipe Band and taking pupil lead rehearsals in their sections, as well as other impressive contributions to the Music of Belhaven.
For 2020/21 we now have eight Form 1 pupils with Music Colours (pictured), four of whom also gained Music Scholarships to their next school.
