Old Belhavians & Families

Belhaven Community

Welcome to the Belhaven Family page for our alumni and their families

We would love you to come and visit us!

The prep school years are those that set you up for life. The excitement of a high calibre education, the pride in achievement, the formation of friendships and the nurturing of a sense of shared values: all are crucial ingredients in fostering a supportive community.

It is not just the pupils that benefit from the magic of Belhaven. For parents and grandparents, aunts and uncles, siblings and guardians, this is a place that evokes great fondness and personal affection. Hours spent on touchlines and boundaries, cheering and shivering at Hallhill or warming up in the Front Hall, sharing a picnic at Sports Day or a stall at the Dog Show – these are memories to cherish.

I would like this page of our website to reflect the opportunities that are associated with a Belhaven education. I hope that you will be keen to reconnect with old friends and to make some new ones – we plan to hold an annual reunion in Edinburgh. I hope that you will send us your news and achievements – we plan to help you connect with those that might help you as you start your careers. I hope that you will visit us – we plan to host several events that might be of interest, but if you are passing by along the A1 then please just drop in!

Finally, you may be interested in our development plans – you can read about what the Belhaven Development Committee are working towards as we embark on the school’s second century. We are excited about the future and cannot wait to welcome you back to the school.

Headmaster
