A COMPANION FROM THE START

We've launched Reception for 4-year-olds because our parents told us they wanted their children in a nurturing academic setting as soon as they were ready. Wrap-around care (7.45am to 4.30 or 6pm) increases the options for working parents, easing the logistical challenges whilst continuing to stretch the children.

Following the National Curriculum, our 4-year-olds join our 5-7 year olds in our small but mighty Pre-Prep - the perfect beginning to a lifelong Belhaven journey.

Our Pre-Prep is intentionally small. Focused teaching, tailored to each child's needs, allows them to progress at their own pace while developing a genuine love of learning. With specialist teaching in Sport and Music throughout and Art, Drama, and STEM from Form 6 (aged 5), even our youngest children benefit from the breadth and expertise of our 100-year-old all-round education.
