Admissions to Pre-Prep
We are very excited to have launched a Reception class at Belhaven Pre-Prep for 4 year olds! This new element of our offering reflects demand - our parents want their children to be in a formal academic setting when they are ready. Following the National Curriculum, our Reception class joins Forms 6, 7 and 8 on the pathway to academic and co-curricular achievement in making up our small but mighty Belhaven Pre-Prep.
The Pre-Prep is small in order that the children can receive focused teaching, tailored to each individual's particular needs at the very start of their education, allowing them to progress at the speed that suits them and develop a love of learning.
Seeing the Pre-Prep sign outside makes me want to have another child so that I could give them the whole Belhaven experience right from the start. (Anna, Form 1 Parent)
We are currently accepting applications for all year groups (Reception, Form 8, 7 & 6) in Pre-Prep and we would like to invite you to come for a tour and meet the Headmaster. Tours are arranged on an individual basis across the week, and give parents a real sense of the school. Following a tour, your child will be invited to attend a 'Taster day'. These opportunities are very relaxed and informal.
