A Typical Day in the Pre-Prep
A typical day in the Belhaven Pre-Prep is full of fun, learning and laughter! Starting at 8.30am, with the option of joining for Breakfast Club at 7.45am, the children begin the day with Phonics, Literacy or Maths. A morning break at 10.45am allows them to enjoy the outdoors and warm up for the daily games session, making full use of the Prep School facilities and coaching staff. Lunch is in the main dining room at 12.15pm.
After a delicious and healthy meal and time for play, it is back to the Pre-Prep. Afternoon lessons begin at 1pm, and may consist of language lessons, topic-based learning, Outdoor Education, Computer Science, Music, Drama or Art. The school day finishes at 3.30pm for Forms 8 & 7 and at 4.30 for Form 6 (to help with their transition into Form 5). Our After School Club runs from 3.30pm – 6pm with an optional pick up at 4.30pm. Those staying until 6pm will be given tea.
