Every Day Is An Adventure in the Pre-Prep
A typical day at Belhaven Pre-Prep is full of discovery, laughter, and the kind of learning that feels like play - because at this age, that is where the best learning starts.
MORNING: Building Foundations
7:45am - Breakfast Club opens (optional)
8:30am - School day begins with Phonics, Literacy, or Maths
10:30am - Morning break: outdoor play and fresh air
11:00am - Games session using Prep School facilities with specialist coaching
MIDDAY: Fuel & Friendship
12:15pm - Lunch in the main dining room
Healthy, home-made meals followed by time to play and be children
AFTERNOON: Discovery Time
1:00pm - Afternoon lessons begin
Language learning, topic-based exploration, Outdoor Education, STEM, Music, Drama or Art
3:30pm - School day ends for Reception, Forms 8 & 7
4:30pm - 6 finishes (helping with transition to Form 5)
AFTER SCHOOL: Extended Adventures
3:30 - 6:00pm - After School Club with optional 4:30pm pick-up
Swimming, baking, arts & crafts, gardening, beach walks, dancing, board games, story time, and more.
Tea is provided for children staying until 6pm, meaning wrap-around care is available from 7:45am to 6pm every day.
