Belhaven started this game with lots of energy and dynamic movement. From the off there was good attacking play and competitive defensive work. Belhaven were creating a lot of chances and at 3-3 late in the second quarter, they looked to push ahead. Fettes though had other ideas and extended into a 7-4 half time lead after Belhaven weren’t able to finish off some well worked chances.
Into the second half and Fettes started quickly with a couple of early scores. Belhaven didn’t give up though and continued to push at the attacking end as well. In the end Fettes were able to maintain a gap on the scoreboard despite a fairly even flow to the game with chances at both ends.
